Anime Limited have recently taken to social media to reveal that pre-orders are now being accepted for the Standard Edition Blu-Ray releases of Eternal 831 and Hula Fulla Dance, both of which were previously released as Collector’s Edition releases in 2023.
Both titles feature the film on Blu-Ray in Japanese (with English subtitles) in standard cases. Interestingly both product pages on AllTheAnime Store suggest that the films will be released on 28th February 2024, which is a Wednesday and not a day that titles are usually released (generally films & TV Series are released on Monday), so we are assuming the date is intended to be 26th February 2024.
Eternal 831: In the present day, the world is in turmoil due to an “unprecedented disaster”. A young man living in Tokyo, Suzushiro, has a secret he cannot tell anyone. That secret is that he can stop the time around him despite his thoughts. One day, he meets a girl named Nazuna who has the same “power”. When he learns that she is being used in a crime, he impulsively reaches out to help her. Will the two be able to get time that has stopped to start moving again?
Hula Fulla Dance: Hiwa Natsunagi is a high school student living in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. Worried about what to do with her life after graduation, she spots a poster for Spa Resort Hawaiians – the “Hawaii of Tohoku”, a place where her sister used to work – and applies to their hula dancer campaign on a whim.
Regardless, both titles are currently available to pre-order directly from the AllTheAnime Store and are expected to be released during February 2024.
