New listings in the New & Popular section of the Netflix application have revealed that OVERLORD II and The Quintessential Quintuplets (thanks James for the heads-up) will be joining the streaming platform in the UK on 15th May 2024.
The first season of OVERLORD was recently added to the streaming platform, and now the second season will be added next month. The Quintessential Quintuplets meanwhile is a brand new addition to the Netflix line-up and is unclear how many seasons (of which 2 are available) will be added. As with recent anime additions we do expect that both of these will be available in English & Japanese (with English subtitle).
OVERLORD II: The power to rule is in his bones. Bow before the great and powerful Ains Ooal Gown – the overlord returns! Continuing his quest to rule this new world, Ains begins to put the pieces in place for his conquest. But between a Lizard Man tribe uprising, and performing missions as adamantite adventurer Lord Momon, Ains has his work cut out for him! The Quintessential Quintuplets: Uesugi Fuutarou, a high school second-year from a poor family, receives a highly appealing offer to work part-time as a tutor… but his students turn out to be girls from his own class! What’s more, they’re quintuplets… and all five are beautiful, but happen to be problem students who have borderline grades and hate studying! Looks like his first assignment will be to win all the sisters’ trust?! Every day is a wild party in this rom-com centering around the quintuplet sisters of the Nakano household!
We’ll know more about these additions to Netflix UK once they becomes available on 15th May 2024. In the meantime all of these series are available to watch on Crunchyroll and these titles have also been released on Blu-Ray and DVD in the UK.
