Following on from its Nintendo Switch release last year, Spike Chunsoft have recently announced that Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE will be coming to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC on 1st October 2024 as Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus.
This enhanced version of the game will feature all of the original content, but enhanced with modern-gen improvements, such as 4K Resolution and Quicker Loading Times, as well as an additional five sub-stories for players to explore. Another addition to this “Plus” version of the game is a Gallery Mode that will allow players to explore past cinematic’s and listen to BGM tracks from the game.

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE is a lucid-noir detective adventure from the minds behind the Danganronpa series. Yuma, an amnesiac detective-in-training, and Shinigami, the spirit haunting him, tackle unsolved mysteries in Kanai Ward, the city of rain.
That’s not all, as PlayStation 5 versions of the game will include the original novel How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case. The physical PlayStation 5 version will receive a printed copy inside the case, while digital PlayStation 5 versions will receive it as a digital copy. A Limited Edition PlayStation 5 version, containing the game, steelbook, soundtrack and Shinigami plush, will also be available.
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE PLUS will be available physically and digitally for the PlayStation 5, as well as digitally on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC on 1st October 2024.
