I really like this manga so it’s disappointing that the anime is just not very good. The art in the manga is way better. It doesn’t flow well, the pacing is off, the characters fall flat. Not as bad as Grand Blue but still disappointing. I do recommend the manga though.

I checked and it has been literally over ten years since the first season. The two minute recap was absolutely not sufficient. I barely remember it, but apparently I did enjoy the first episode of the last season, and this new episode clearly did not live up to it based on my description…

Let me just quote the official hook for this because while there’s a lot going on and it looks… interesting… there’s the classic GoHands problem of being absolutely pointless: “Robotic invaders wiped out all life, but Renge fights to survive using her powers. This was really fun. Takes a goofy premise and runs with in. Pretty funny having the characters from the fantasy world make fun of how ridiculous the power rangers are.
