I’d rather have seen more of that intro bit, to be honest.
Impressions:
Probably the closest to the first episode in humor, right down to multiple jokes having been already shown in the pre-air promos. Splitting into multiple segments also at least helps make each one’s schtick not drag on for too long as it has in the last few episodes, but I still think just trying to do a cohesive full episode would be an improvement. You can still be plenty absurdist and have various B or C plots with their own jokes going on interspersed throughout without cutting things into distinct six minute segments with zero connective tissue. Plenty of comedies have managed it just fine.
Perhaps it would also help if any of the segments were particularly good either. I really want this show to be funnier than it actually is, but so much of the comedy could be replaced by somebody using an airhorn at random points. The narrator randomly popping up to explain jokes is not helping matters either, especially in the third part, which despite ostensibly being about the third character of the student council, was more like a supercut of the previous characters, just cycling through their jokes again while the narrator repeatedly interrupted to explain the jokes.
