Redeus puts his future on hold in order to save friends from the past in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Season 2 Part 2, and, courtesy of Crunchyroll (UK), we can explore what this Limited Edition Blu-Ray release of the series has to offer in our latest unboxing. As a reminder Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Season 2 Part 2 was released earlier this week in the UK (on the 10th November 2025) and is available on Blu-Ray and Limited Edition Blu-Ray.
First of all, and as a reminder, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Season 2 Part 2 features 12 episodes, namely Episodes 13 – 24 of the second season, in English & Japanese with English subtitles across 2 Blu-Ray discs.
Synopsis: Finally ready to grow up, Rudy marries Sylphiette, buys a house, and takes in his two sisters. But when his mother needs rescuing, he heeds the call, ignoring the Man-God’s warning about leaving his new life – and pregnant wife – behind.
The episodes within offer two distinctive story lines, with the first half focusing on the relationship between Redeus, Sylphiette, Norn and Aisha, and the second half seeing Redeus join with past allies on a rescue attempt in a far away land. Both aspects of the series offer a crucial turning point for Redeus and showcases his growth as a character. Each episode continues building upon the next until it reaches its, rather emotional, conclusion.
Episodic content aside, this Limited Edition release of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Season 2 Part 2 is pretty standard for a Crunchyroll related Limited Edition release. As such you’ll find the Blu-Ray set presented in a rigid art box, which has a matte finish to it (just like the previous season), with all of the Limited Edition contents (which in this case are the Art Book and Box with Art Cards) being stored inside the art box alongside the aforementioned Blu-Ray set.
Limited Edition Contents:
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Season 2 Part 2 (Blu-Ray)
Art Box (holds Part 1, Part 2 & Art Book or Part 2, Art Book and Box for Art Cards)
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Season 2 Art Book
8 Art Cards
Blu-Ray Disc Contents:
12 Episodes across 2 Blu-Ray Discs (Region A & B)
English 2.0 & Japanese 2.0 with English Subtitles
Bonus Features
Textless Opening & Closing Songs
As you can see the Blu-Ray set inside this Limited Edition features the same artwork of that as the standard edition set, so those buying the Limited Edition release won’t be missing out on any art work (unlike the TRIGUN STAMPEDE Limited Edition which used different artwork for different editions). Speaking of art work, the art work on the carded sleeve (that slides over the Blu-Ray case) is slightly different to the art work on the inlay sleeve. These differences are just the front cover, which uses an entirely different visual, and the back cover using a different character visual. It’s nice that there are subtle changes between covers, and both fit really well within the style of the packaging.
The Blu-Ray discs themselves meanwhile feature the same style and presentation of the previous part (and season 1) with each Blu-ray disc having a different character visual as part of its art work. As you might expect they look nice and continue to remain consistent with the rest of the franchise. My only issue about these discs is that the text hilighting the Disc Number and Episode Count. The text is black and blends in with the artwork of the disc. This colour coordination makes it difficult to see, but at the same time it’s not entirely important other than presenting viewers with more information about each discs content.
Going Beyond the Anime:
Crunchyroll continues its trend of “going beyond the anime” to include an art book with its Limited Edition releases, and the same can be said for this set. As per usual the art book features a combination of art work, visuals and cast interviews. Inside you’ll find visuals for characters, monsters, weapons and environments from the entirety of Season 2, with most pieces of art work also being accompanied with additional information to provide added insight. The cast interviews meanwhile, which can be found in the later half of the book, provide us with “Questions and Answers” segments with staff that worked on the series, such as the Japanese voice actors. It is a rather comprehensive book, and offers a nice balance between visuals and information that is a welcome addition to any fans collection.
Of course there is more to explore in this Limited Edition than just the (art) book, as inside this set you’ll also find eight art cards with each art featuring art work from a different character. At first glance these art cards look pretty standard, but on closer inspection they do have a shiny / holo effect to them. The artwork being used is also different to that of the anime series, so they could have been drawn by other artists involved with the series, the light novel or the manga. Either way, they bring a different style and vibe to the characters and offer something different to the traditional artwork that is being used for the rest of the packaging.
At first glance this Limited Edition release of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Season 2 Part 2 offers less than its Season 1 Part 1 counterpart, as it is lacking a cloth poster (or anything else of equal value). However, instead we receive a more in-depth and feature rich art book as well as more art cards. It’s a shame that there isn’t something extra, but this set is nicely presented and a well round package, but more importantly than that it looks great on the shelf next to the Season 1 art box.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Season 2 Part 2 is now available on Blu-Ray and Limited Edition Blu-Ray in the UK from Crunchyroll.
