KONAMI have recently confirmed that they will release The Prince of Tennis II: Doki Doki Survival and The Prince of Tennis II: Sweet School Festival digitally on to the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam in July. Pre-Orders for the game are also available on the Nintendo eShop and Steam.
Both games are remastered editions of otome visual novels previously released exclusively in Japan, and feature unique stories with The Prince of Tennis II characters. As part of these remastered editions players can switch between classic and remastered visuals with enjoying the original stories.
The Prince of Tennis II: Doki Doki Survival ~eternal passion! Tie break ♡ game~: While on vacation, a sudden storm leaves you and your friend stranded on a deserted island. Join forces with the tennis club members who shared your ship and set out together to escape the island.
The Prince of Tennis II: Sweet School Festival ~♡-40 and more…~: During a joint school festival hosted by the tennis clubs of seven academies, you are chosen to serve as a member of the festival’s management committee. Guide and support the players of your assigned school, strengthen your bonds, and strive for first place in the stall competition!
The Nintendo Switch versions of the games will be offered as a Nintendo Switch game and Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, with an upgrade pack also available for Nintendo Switch game owners to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, and are currently priced as follows:
Nintendo Switch Game = £39.98
Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Game = £44.98
Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack = £3.98
What’s also interesting is that each game, on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms, will have to download a FREE DLC PACK in order to play the game with English text. The bundles in the Nintendo eShop included this DLC by default, so it will automatically be installed when downloaded, but it is still bizarre to see English text not being included as part of the game itself.
The Prince of Tennis II: Doki Doki Survival and The Prince of Tennis II: Sweet School Festival are currently available to pre-order digitally on the Nintendo eShop and Steam and are expected to be released on the 30th July 2026. Further details can be found on the KONAMI website.
