Banana Fish, an anime series animated by Studio MAPPA and adapted from the manga by Akimi Yoshida, is now available to stream on Netflix in the UK courtesy of Anime Limited. That’s not all, as the series is available to stream with a Brand New English dub and the series is planned for a UK Blu-Ray release later in 2027

Regular readers of the AllTheAnime Blog may have already noticed that Anime Limited announced that they had acquired Banana Fish for UK, France and US audiences, and that the series would be returning to Netflix after its removal from Amazon Prime. The announcement also confirmed plans for a Blu-Ray release, but specific details have yet to be revealed, and availility of a new English dub.
