The 111th chapter of Seraph of the End started with the entire team inside an escape truck, driven by Ferid. Mika, Yu, Kimizuka, Mitsuba, Krul, Guren, and Mahiru are all inside the same vehicle. A conversation sparks and Yu decides to take a dig at Guren. Mika was the first one to speak, commenting that Ferid, Mahiru, Guren, and Krul were all cahoots. But Guren bounced that he had saved them all in order to execute an even bigger plan. Mika was confused as to what this plan was. Yu told him just to wait and watch. Then he spoke to Guren, telling him to answer in Yes or No, or he would blast the entire truck.
The first question was whether Guren liked him (Yu). Guren replied with a Yes. Next, he asked him whether he was using him. Again, Guren iterated with a Yes. The final question was whether he was in the cahoots with Ferid the night his parents were murdered. Guren decided to give an explanation, but Yu had already asked Mika to give him his powers. In no time at all, swords and shields were out. Yu asked once again, did you do it? But Guren was also ready to fight.
A shadowy manifestation called the “Moon Demon Stance” surrounded him as he was about to attack Yu. He declared that he wanted to surpass Guren’s powers. The latter replied that Yu was behaving like an idiot. Towards the end of the chapter, Yu activated the Fliker Mikaela with Mika as his sword. They were facing one another for an all-out war this time.
