New retailer listings at Anime-On-Line and Amazon UK have revealed that Anime Limited (All The Anime) will be releasing a Standard Edition Blu-Ray of The House of the Lost on the Cape, a feature-length-film directed by Shinya Kawatsura, on 16th October 2023.

Synopsis: 17-year-old run-away Yui and 8-year-old Hiyori, who lost her family and her voice, have no place to go when they run into Kiwa, a strange old lady. She offers them a place to stay, in a slightly banged-up old house overlooking the sea, a Mayoiga. Despite joining Kiwa on a whim, the two girls find comfort in the Mayoiga, a legendary house said to look after lost travelers, and the warm hospitality of Kiwa. Both girls’ damaged hearts begin to heal little by little as time passes.
This Collector’s Edition release features the film on both Blu-Ray and DVD with English and Japanese audio with English subtitles, as well as on-disc bonus features including a Special Q&A with Director Shinya Kawatsura and secret recipes with Yui and Hiyori. In terms of presentation the set is presented in a standard case that slides into a rigid art box with a 24-page booklet.
Previously Anime Limited had released a Collector’s Edition variation of The House of the Lost on the Cape earlier this year, of which is still currently available at retailers within the UK.
