Those looking ahead at the release schedule might have noticed that a variety of upcoming Blu-Ray releases from all three of the major anime distributors have received updated release dates, with the most notable being from MVM Entertainment in form of Flying Witch and Tsurune.
A breakdown of the new release dates can be found below:
Anime Limited:
- Gundam Build Fighters – Part 1 is now listed for 13th November 2023.
Previously it was listed for 18th September 2023.
Crunchyroll:
- Classroom of the Elite – Season 1 is now listed for 2nd October 2023.
Previously it was listed for 4th September 2023.
MVM Entertainment:
- Flying Witch – Complete Series is now listed for 30th October 2023.
Previously it was listed for 18th September 2023. - Tsurune – Complete Series is now listed for 30th October 2023.
Previously it was listed for 4th September 2023.
We’ve not seen an official confirmation of these release date amendments from the relevant distributor, but the updated release listings are now live at retailers, so we can safely assume that the release dates were pushed back and that these new dates are the intended release date for each product. We are also not aware on why the products were delayed, but we can only assume (as per normal) that a delay in production resulted in the release dates being changed.
