GODZILLA MINUS ONE Achieves £2 Million at the UK & IRE Box Office

Anime Limited have recently announced that GODZILLA MINUS ONE has achieved £2 Million at the UK and IRE Box Office with the film still receiving cinematic screenings across the UK. Ticks for the film are also available to purchase online through the official microsite.

GODZILLA MINUS ONE, which began its UK and IRE domination on 15th December 2023, is presented in Japanese with English subtitles. The film originally had its world premiere on 18th October 2023 and was also selected as the closing film of the 36th Tokyo International Film Festival with the film itself written and directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki. In the UK GODZILLA MINUS ONE broke multiple box office records on release, with the largest opening day for a Japanese film (live-action and animated) in over 23 years, leading it to become the highest-ever grossing Japanese live-action film in the UK & Ireland.

Synopsis: The worst despair in the series’ history strikes Japan! After the war, Japan has been reduced to zero. Godzilla appears and plunges the country into a negative state. The most desperate situation in the history of Japan. Who? And how? Will Japan stand up to it?

Tickets for GODZILLA MINUS ONE are now available to purchase online through the official microsite, with cinema chains including Cineworld, ODEON, Savoy and Showcase currently listing the film.
