Updated listings at online retailers have recently revealed that Mamoru Hosoda’s SCARLET is now expected to launch on the 15th June 2026. The film was previously expected to release on the 8th June 2026, and despite the change of date it is still being released as both a Steelbook and Standard Edition Blu-Ray set.
The UK release of SCARLET is reportedly being distributed in to the UK through Elevation Sales, in partnership with Sony Pictures, with pre-orders now being accepted at online retailers. The Steelbook edition contains the film on both 4K UHD Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray while the Standard Edition simply contains the film on Blu-Ray.

SCARLET previously received a limited cinema release in the UK on the 13th March 2026 with most (if not all) screenings being in subbed format. This release of this 4K UHD Blu-Ray, and Blu-Ray, release of the film means that fans can soon watch it in the comfort of their own home, and that they will be able to watch it in dubbed or subbed format.
