Bandai Namco have today announced at MCM Comic Con in London that a dedicated, and permanent, GUNDAM BASE Store will be opening in London, in Camden Market, on the 3rd July 2026. The announcement was made at the Bandai Namco booth, with an unveiling of some new artwork, before being reconfirmed at the Bandai Namco x Anime Limited Gundam Panel later in the day,.
A GUNDAM BASE POP-UP World Tour Store originally opened on the 5th September 2025 and was expected to close on the 31st March 2026, but was then later extended to an unconfirmed date due to the popularity of the store. The store sold Gunpla Kits, Trading Card Game and other exclusive merchandise and time-limited products. This POP-UP Store sadly closed earlier this month, but Bandai Namco have now confirmed that a dedicated and permanent store will be opening on the 3rd July 2026.
In addition to the absolutely amazing visual (shown above) it was confirmed that the store would sell Gunpla, GUNDAM CARD GAME, TAMASHII NATIONS and G-STRICT merchandise. That’s not all, as during its opening month a selection of exclusive Gundam products will be sold including Banshee and Unicorn Bust Head Displays, EFSF Action Base, Char’s Zaku II (Metalic) and Master Grader Cross-Contrast Colours Wing Zero and Eypon. It was also mentioned that a loyalty scheme is planned, and will reward different items based on money spent in store.
As it stands this official UK GUNDAM BASE Store will open on 3rd July 2026 at Camden Market in London with additional details being shared on the official Facebook Page.
